Meet the Principal

Meet Dawn Menard, your principal at Alsup Elementary School! 

Principal Menard obtained her principal certification from the University of Denver and is working on her dissertation to finish a doctorate in education. She is proud of her accomplishments at Adams 14 so far, including a greater focus on STEAM education and opening a new elementary school building in 2021. 

“There is nothing like seeing a student grow from preschool to 5th grade,” says Dawn. “The growth and progress I get to see and be a part of is empowering. Being a servant leader is what I am passionate about. Empowering our parents to be advocates for their children.”

When not working, she enjoys reading, cooking, and doing puzzles.
